I have been tutoring A-Level Biology online for 8 years. I am very well set up with a high-speed internet connection, a 4K monitor, a high-specification computer, a webcam and a graphics tablet – everything that is needed to teach an online biology lesson professionally.
How online biology tutoring works with me.
I use Zoom to connect my computer to my student’s computer. With my digital whiteboard, I can show diagrams, images, videos, past paper questions and notes. Both parties can view and annotate the notes on the screen
At the start of each lesson, I recap the previous work and check the student’s understanding.
What equipment do i need for online biology lessons?
- A good broadband connection.
- A computer with microphone.
- A webcam (optional).
- A graphics tablet (optional, but makes annotating on screen a lot easier)
What are the costs for online biology tuition.
I charge £80 per hour Monday to Friday and £120 per hour at weekends. Payment is asked for in advance.
I charge £50 per hour per student Monday to Friday and £80 per hour at weekends. There is a minimum of 4 students per group. Payment is asked for in advance.
