OnLine One to One tuition
With one-to-one tuition, I teach and support one student during each lesson. This option is suitable for all students but may be of particular interest to students who learn best on their own. I also offer group tuition.
How do I arrange one-to-one tuition?
- Book a free telephone consultation with me. This allows me to learn more about your particular issues with A-Level Biology. The call must be with the parent and or student.
- Decide on a date and time that you want your lesson.
- I will then send a link (to parents and or students) for the student portal so you can access Zoom and electronic resources. This link will have your login details for the student portal.
- I will send a payment link to the parents.
A lesson can be booked without a phone consultation, but I prefer speaking with the parents and students before the first lesson.
Is there a minimum number of lessons that I have to have?
The short answer is no. However, the full benefits of tuition are achieved with regular weekly sessions.
Can I cancel a lesson?
Yes. I do ask for 24hrs notice. In some circumstances, a missed lesson will need to be paid for.
What are the costs for online biology tuition.
One-to-one Tuition
I charge £80 per hour Monday to Friday and £120 per hour at weekends. Payment is asked for in advance.
Group Tutoring
I charge £50 per hour per student Monday to Friday and £80 per hour at weekends. There is a minimum of 4 students per group. Payment is asked for in advance.
