Which Option Is Right for You?
Not sure whether to choose one-to-one, group or in-person tuition? Here is a quick guide. If you are still unsure, book a free 20-minute consultation and I will recommend the best fit for your situation.
Choose One-to-One If…
You want the fastest progress, you are targeting an A or A*, you have specific topics to fix, or you are retaking. Sessions are tailored entirely to you and available for every exam board. More on one-to-one tuition.
Choose Group Tuition If…
You study WJEC or Eduqas, you want year-long structured coverage, and you would value expert teaching at a lower cost per hour. Groups are kept to 2–8 students. More on group tuition.
Choose In-Person If…
You are local, prefer face-to-face teaching, and are happy to cover travel time and mileage. In-person sessions are charged at the same hourly rate as online, plus travel.

All digital resources are provided free of charge. For in-person students, there is a small printing charge.

Written feedback on two or more questions. With video feedback: £80
Long Answer Questions

Pricing Questions
Yes. You can book a free 20-minute consultation to discuss your needs, your exam board, and how I can help. There is no obligation to continue.
No. Online and group rates are all-inclusive — lesson recordings, topic notes, past papers and student portal access are all included in the hourly rate. The only additional charges are for in-person travel (mileage and travel time), and these are always shown clearly before you book.
Group tuition is already offered at a significantly lower rate per student than one-to-one. For one-to-one sessions, the most cost-effective approach is regular weekly lessons, which build momentum and cover the specification thoroughly. Book a free consultation and I will recommend the best-value plan for your situation.
Payment is by bank transfer in advance of the lesson. Payment details are provided after booking.
My hourly charges are priced competitively compared to other tutors with similar qualifications and experience, so I am not able to offer a discount.
Every session includes past papers, detailed topic notes, a video recording of the lesson, and full access to the student portal with digital resources. Written feedback on one question per week is also included free of charge.
I ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged at the full hourly rate.
Weekend tuition is available to existing students in exceptional circumstances only. Higher hourly rates apply: £120/hr for one-to-one and £90/hr per student for group sessions.
