A-Level Biology Revision Courses — Structured Sessions for Every Stage of the Year
Targeted revision sessions built around the school calendar. Whether you need intensive Easter preparation before exams, focused half-term revision, urgent help at short notice, or summer resit preparation, I provide structured online sessions tailored to your exam board from a former WJEC/Eduqas & Edexcel examiner.
Choose Your Revision Course
Each option is designed for a different stage of the academic year. Select the one that fits your situation, or book a free consultation and I’ll recommend the best approach.
Easter Revision
The most critical revision window — 5 to 8 weeks before exams. Structured daily or intensive sessions over the Easter holidays designed to consolidate content, close gaps, and sharpen exam technique before the final push.
Easter Revision Details →Half-Term Revision
Focused sessions during the shorter school breaks. Perfect for addressing specific weak topics, catching up after falling behind, or building momentum before the next half of term. Available for February, May, and October half-terms.
Half-Term Revision Details →Intensive / Crash Course
Urgent, focused revision available year-round. For students who need help now — whether after disappointing mock results, before an approaching exam, or when they’ve fallen significantly behind. Sessions can start within days.
Intensive Revision Details →Summer Revision
The longest uninterrupted study window of the year. Ideal for resit preparation after results day, consolidating Year 12 content before entering Year 13, or getting a head start on A2 topics while there’s no competing school pressure.
Summer Revision Details →Why Structured Revision Courses Work Better Than Ad-Hoc Tutoring
Most students who come to me have already tried revising on their own. The problem isn’t effort — it’s direction. Without structure, students revise what they already know, avoid the hard topics, and never practise under exam conditions. Structured revision fixes all three.
Diagnostic Assessment First
Every course begins by identifying exactly where the marks are being lost. Not vague feelings about weak topics — actual data from past papers, mocks, and exam analysis. This drives everything that follows.
Exam-Board-Specific Content
Different boards test differently. AQA’s 25-mark essays are nothing like WJEC’s QER questions. As a former examiner for both WJEC/Eduqas and Edexcel, I tailor every session to your exact specification and examination style.
Examiner-Level Feedback
I don’t just tell you the right answer — I tell you whether your answer would actually earn full marks, what the examiner is looking for, and exactly how to phrase responses to match the mark scheme.
Recorded Sessions & Resources
Every session is recorded for rewatching. You also get access to the student portal with detailed notes, video tutorials, and exam questions organised by topic and board.

The same rates apply across all revision courses. No minimum commitment — book as many sessions as you need. A free 20-minute consultation is included to assess your position and recommend a plan.

All sessions are delivered online, which means students anywhere in the UK or worldwide can access specialist exam-board-specific tuition. Sessions use screen sharing, digital whiteboard, and real-time annotation of past papers. Every session is recorded so students can rewatch explanations.
The earlier the better. Summer is ideal for resit preparation and Year 12 to 13 transition. Half-term breaks are perfect for addressing specific weak topics. Easter is the critical final push before exams. If you’ve left it late, intensive sessions are available at short notice year-round.
Yes. Every student receives a free 20-minute consultation where I assess their current position, identify the key areas for improvement, and recommend a revision plan. There is no obligation to book sessions afterwards.
